1. Purpose Of Credential Review And Marketplace Publication
WRKROOT reviews talent profiles and credentials to support marketplace quality, client confidence, competence/readiness evaluation, fraud prevention, hiring workflows, recommendations, and engagement operations.
Credential review may help WRKROOT evaluate whether a talent profile appears suitable for marketplace visibility or client recommendation. However, WRKROOT's review is not an absolute guarantee of identity, licensing, lawful work status, legal compliance, professional fitness, client suitability, credential authenticity, or future performance.
Clients remain responsible for final hiring, engagement, credentialing, supervision, compliance, access, healthcare, HIPAA, employment, contractor classification, tax, security, and industry-specific decisions.
Talent remain responsible for the accuracy, truthfulness, completeness, legality, and currency of all profile and credential information.
2. Talent Profile Review
WRKROOT may review talent profile information, including:
- Name.
- Profile photo.
- Pitch video.
- Professional headline.
- Biography or introduction.
- Job title.
- Industry and sub-industry.
- Country.
- Phone and contact information where relevant.
- Skills.
- Skill descriptions.
- Work experience.
- Education.
- Preferred work hours.
- Preferred work days.
- Preferred work mode.
- Preferred client country.
- Profile completeness.
- Profile status.
- Marketplace readiness.
- Assessment status.
- Credential status.
- Review comments.
- Admin notes.
- Account status.
- Related audit records.
WRKROOT may lock a profile during review, request changes, approve, reject, delist, relist, or update status based on WRKROOT's review standards and business judgment.
3. Credential Review
WRKROOT may request, collect, review, and retain credentials and proof documents, including:
- Degrees.
- Certifications.
- Licenses.
- Transcripts.
- Work proof.
- Professional documents.
- Training evidence.
- Portfolio evidence.
- Other documents requested or approved by WRKROOT.
Credential records may include:
- Credential title.
- Credential document file.
- Original file name.
- Content type.
- File size.
- Stored file path.
- Status, such as draft, submitted, changes required, approved, rejected, delisted, or relisted.
- Review notes.
- Submitted timestamp.
- Reviewed timestamp.
- Actor or reviewer.
- Credential audit events.
WRKROOT may approve, reject, request changes, require replacement documents, request additional information, remove marketplace visibility, or take account action based on credential review.
4. Marketplace Eligibility
Marketplace publication may require WRKROOT approval of the talent profile. WRKROOT may also require approved credentials, assessments, interviews, profile completeness, account standing, client demand, admin review, or other readiness criteria depending on WRKROOT's current rules.
WRKROOT may change marketplace eligibility rules at any time.
Marketplace eligibility does not guarantee:
- Marketplace publication.
- Featured status.
- Client views.
- Client recommendations.
- Interviews.
- Hiring.
- Engagements.
- Compensation.
- Continued visibility.
- Continued platform access.
5. Marketplace Publication And Client-Facing Information
If a talent profile is approved and marketplace-ready, WRKROOT may publish or share client-facing talent information, including:
- Name or display name.
- Profile photo.
- Pitch video.
- Professional headline.
- Biography or introduction.
- Job title.
- Industry and sub-industry.
- Country.
- Skills.
- Work experience.
- Education.
- Work preferences.
- Preferred work hours, workdays, work mode, and preferred client country.
- Marketplace summary.
- Featured status.
- Credential status.
- Assessment status.
- Assessment summaries, recommendations, or score/report information where WRKROOT chooses.
- Other information WRKROOT determines is relevant to hiring, placement, marketplace, or engagement workflows.
Clients may see credential status by default. Actual credential documents will be shared with clients only when explicitly required and authorized in writing or through another WRKROOT-approved written workflow.
6. WRKROOT Marketplace Discretion
WRKROOT has sole discretion to:
- Approve profiles.
- Reject profiles.
- Request changes.
- Lock profiles.
- Unlock profiles.
- Publish profiles.
- Hide profiles.
- Delist profiles.
- Relist profiles.
- Feature profiles.
- Unfeature profiles.
- Change marketplace visibility.
- Change marketplace summaries.
- Update credential status.
- Update assessment status.
- Pause or remove recommendations.
- Restrict profile access.
- Suspend, block, blacklist, or terminate accounts.
WRKROOT may take these actions with or without advance notice where permitted by law and applicable agreements.
7. Talent Responsibilities
Talent are responsible for ensuring all profile, credential, marketplace, and supporting information is:
- True.
- Accurate.
- Current.
- Complete.
- Lawful.
- Non-misleading.
- Authorized to upload and share.
- Not forged, altered, deceptive, stolen, or fraudulent.
- Not infringing.
- Free of malware or harmful code.
- Limited to the purpose requested by WRKROOT.
Talent must promptly update inaccurate, outdated, expired, revoked, misleading, or incomplete information.
Talent must not submit fake credentials, altered documents, false work history, misleading job titles, fake references, inaccurate education, unauthorized files, or documents belonging to another person.
8. Credential And Profile Problems
If WRKROOT suspects or determines that profile or credential information is false, misleading, incomplete, expired, revoked, unauthorized, forged, altered, risky, unlawful, or inconsistent with WRKROOT standards, WRKROOT may:
- Request changes.
- Request additional documentation.
- Reject the credential.
- Reject the profile.
- Lock the profile.
- Delist or unfeature the profile.
- Remove marketplace visibility.
- Mark the account for review.
- Block, blacklist, suspend, or terminate the account.
- Notify clients or prospective clients where relevant.
- Preserve documents and audit records.
- Retain evidence.
- Investigate fraud.
- Cooperate with authorities, clients, credentialing bodies, service providers, or legal counsel where appropriate.
- Pursue legal, contractual, equitable, or platform remedies.
WRKROOT may treat attempted credential fraud or attempted profile deception as a completed violation.
9. Delisting And Relisting
Talent may request marketplace delisting where WRKROOT provides a supported process.
Delisting may reduce or eliminate:
- Client profile discovery.
- Marketplace views.
- Recommendations.
- Interview opportunities.
- Hiring opportunities.
- Engagement opportunities.
WRKROOT may still retain records and may still show or share information needed for:
- Active engagements.
- Interview workflows already in progress.
- Contracts.
- Billing.
- Client support.
- Talent support.
- Disputes.
- Legal compliance.
- Audit.
- Fraud prevention.
- Marketplace integrity.
- Client safety.
- Legal defense.
- Rights enforcement.
Relisting is not guaranteed. WRKROOT may require updated information, additional review, credential changes, assessment completion, account review, admin approval, or other conditions before relisting.
10. Future Verification
WRKROOT may add future third-party or internal verification processes, including:
- Credential verification.
- License verification.
- Identity checks.
- Background checks.
- Reference checks.
- Sanctions checks.
- Work authorization checks.
- Education verification.
- Employment verification.
- Professional standing checks.
- Fraud screening.
Future providers: to be finalized.
Where required by law, WRKROOT will provide additional notice, obtain consent, or follow required procedures before using third-party screening, background check, consumer report, or verification services.
Refusal to participate in required verification may affect profile approval, marketplace readiness, client recommendations, engagement eligibility, or platform access.
11. No Guarantee Of Credential Validity Or Future Performance
WRKROOT's credential and profile review supports competence/readiness evaluation and marketplace quality, but it is not a substitute for client due diligence.
WRKROOT does not guarantee:
- Identity.
- Credential authenticity.
- License status.
- Work authorization.
- Legal compliance.
- Professional competence for every client use case.
- Healthcare, HIPAA, industry, or customer-specific compliance.
- Suitability for a particular role.
- Future performance.
- Client satisfaction.
- Continued availability.
- Continued engagement.
Clients should conduct any additional checks required by their own risk tolerance, industry, law, customer obligations, healthcare obligations, security requirements, or internal policies.
12. Sensitive Data And PHI
Talent must not upload sensitive, regulated, confidential, patient, client, financial, government ID, or third-party information unless WRKROOT expressly requests or authorizes it through an approved workflow.
Talent must not upload PHI or patient data unless:
- WRKROOT expressly approves the workflow.
- The applicable healthcare customer authorizes the workflow.
- A valid Business Associate Agreement or other required written agreement is in place where legally required.
- The talent is authorized to handle the information.
- The upload is necessary and limited to the approved purpose.
13. Retention
WRKROOT may retain profile, credential, marketplace, review, audit, delisting, relisting, fraud, account-status, and supporting records for as long as reasonably necessary for:
- Profile review.
- Marketplace readiness.
- Client recommendations.
- Credential review.
- Fraud prevention.
- Legal defense.
- Dispute resolution.
- Contract enforcement.
- Client safety.
- Marketplace integrity.
- Compliance.
- Audit.
- Support.
- Security.
- Legitimate business purposes.
WRKROOT may retain these records after account deletion, profile delisting, rejection, suspension, blacklisting, engagement completion, contract expiration, or relationship termination where permitted or required.
14. Changes To This Policy
WRKROOT may update this Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. WRKROOT may provide notice through the website, platform, email, in-app notification, dashboard notice, profile workflow, credential workflow, or another reasonable method.
Your continued access to or use of WRKROOT after an updated Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated Policy.
