WRKROOT Electronic Communications Consent

1. Consent To Receive Communications
By creating an account, signing up, logging in, providing contact information, submitting a form, using the platform, signing a document, requesting support, participating in a workflow, or continuing to use WRKROOT, you consent to receive communications from WRKROOT electronically and through the contact channels you provide or use.
WRKROOT may contact you by:
- Email.
- In-app notification.
- Platform dashboard notice.
- Account notification center.
- Phone call.
- SMS/text message.
- WhatsApp or similar messaging channels.
- Support ticket messages.
- Contract or billing workflow messages.
- Other reasonable electronic, digital, or contact methods associated with your account or relationship with WRKROOT.
Some channels, including SMS/text and WhatsApp, may not be active at launch. WRKROOT may add, modify, pause, or discontinue communication channels at any time.
2. Service, Transactional, And Operational Communications
You agree that WRKROOT may send service, transactional, legal, account, operational, security, and administrative communications related to:
- Account creation, login, profile status, settings, and account controls.
- Security alerts, access issues, suspicious activity, password resets, and verification.
- Talent profiles, reviews, credentials, assessments, assessment safeguard events, marketplace visibility, and profile status.
- Client accounts, hiring requests, recommendations, interviews, engagement setup, and engagement updates.
- Contracts, signatures, notices, approvals, expirations, disputes, and audit records.
- Billing accounts, invoices, payment methods, payment metadata, payment attempts, failed payments, overdue balances, chargebacks, taxes, and collections.
- Attendance schedules, clock-in/out records, verification, proof uploads, time off, holidays, and related decisions.
- KPI plans, KPI submissions, proof files, review outcomes, and reports.
- Support tickets, support messages, preferred contact windows, escalations, and issue resolution.
- In-app notifications, email notifications, admin broadcasts, and role-based workflow updates.
- Policy updates, Terms updates, Privacy Policy updates, legal notices, compliance notices, and service announcements.
- Platform changes, outages, maintenance, feature updates, risk notices, security notices, and administrative messages.
These communications are part of the WRKROOT services and your relationship with WRKROOT. You may not opt out of essential service, transactional, billing, legal, security, contract, account, or operational communications while maintaining an active account or active relationship with WRKROOT.
3. Marketing And Product Update Communications
WRKROOT may send marketing, promotional, newsletter, product update, event, survey, or similar non-essential communications where permitted by law and your communication preferences.
You may opt out of marketing or product update communications by using available unsubscribe links, platform settings, account preferences, or by contacting info@wrkroothr.com.
Opting out of marketing communications does not opt you out of essential service, transactional, billing, legal, security, contract, account, or operational communications.
4. SMS, Phone, WhatsApp, And Messaging Consent
If you provide a phone number or messaging contact, you consent to receive calls, SMS/text messages, WhatsApp messages, or similar messages from WRKROOT for service, transactional, operational, support, security, billing, contract, account, and platform-related purposes.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
Where required by law, WRKROOT will request any additional consent needed for marketing or promotional SMS/text messages. Consent to receive marketing texts is not required as a condition of purchasing services unless allowed by law.
You may withdraw consent for optional SMS/text, WhatsApp, or similar non-essential messages through available platform settings, by following message instructions where provided, or by contacting info@wrkroothr.com. Withdrawal may not affect essential communications where WRKROOT is legally or operationally permitted to continue contacting you.
5. Notification Preferences And Withdrawal
WRKROOT may provide account settings, notification preferences, unsubscribe tools, or other platform-supported methods to manage some communication preferences.
You may intentionally withdraw consent for optional communications through available settings or by contacting WRKROOT. However:
- Withdrawal may not affect communications already sent.
- Withdrawal may not apply to essential service, billing, legal, security, contract, account, or operational notices.
- If you withdraw consent in a way that prevents WRKROOT from providing required notices or services, WRKROOT may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account, access, workflow, or relationship.
- Certain records may still be retained for legal, billing, contract, invoice, tax, accounting, audit, security, compliance, dispute, fraud prevention, or legitimate business reasons.
6. Delivery Of Notices
You agree that communications may be treated as delivered when WRKROOT sends them to:
- The email address associated with your account.
- The phone number associated with your account.
- The mailing address or billing address on file.
- Your in-app notifications.
- Your platform dashboard.
- Your account notification center.
- A support ticket, contract workflow, billing workflow, or other platform workflow associated with your account.
- Any other contact method you provide to WRKROOT.
You are responsible for reading WRKROOT communications and monitoring the channels associated with your account.
WRKROOT is not responsible for missed, delayed, blocked, filtered, undelivered, unread, or misdirected communications caused by:
- Incorrect, outdated, inactive, or unreachable contact information.
- Email filters, spam folders, carrier filters, device settings, notification settings, or third-party systems.
- Your failure to check email, dashboard notices, account notifications, SMS/text messages, support tickets, or other communication channels.
- Your withdrawal of optional communication consent where that withdrawal prevents WRKROOT from reaching you through a channel.
7. Your Responsibility To Keep Contact Information Updated
You must keep your contact information accurate, current, and complete.
This includes your:
- Email address.
- Phone number.
- Country and phone country code.
- Mailing or billing address, where applicable.
- Contact title, company details, or representative information, where applicable.
- Notification preferences and account settings.
If your contact information changes, you must update it promptly through the platform or notify WRKROOT.
WRKROOT may rely on the contact information in your account or records until you update it or WRKROOT confirms a replacement contact method.
8. Records Of Communications
WRKROOT may create, store, process, review, preserve, and use communication records for operational, legal, billing, contract, support, audit, security, compliance, dispute, fraud prevention, and legitimate business purposes.
Communication records may include:
- Email logs.
- In-app notifications.
- Notification read/unread status.
- Support tickets.
- Message content.
- Delivery metadata.
- Provider metadata.
- Timestamps.
- Recipients.
- Actors or senders.
- Related account, billing, contract, support, engagement, assessment, attendance, KPI, credential, marketplace, or workflow records.

9. Changes To This Consent
WRKROOT may update this Consent from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. WRKROOT may provide notice through the website, platform, email, in-app notification, dashboard notice, or another reasonable method.
Your continued access to or use of WRKROOT after an updated Consent becomes effective means you accept the updated Consent.
