1. Information WRKROOT Collects From Talent
WRKROOT may collect talent information directly from you, from platform activity, from WRKROOT admins/recruiters, from clients, from service providers, and from future verification sources where authorized.
Talent information may include:
- Name.
- Username.
- Email address.
- Password hash and authentication data.
- Phone country code and phone number.
- Country.
- Timezone.
- Role and account status.
- Notification preferences.
- Account notes, blocked/blacklisted status, review notes, and account-control records.
- Created and updated timestamps.
2. Talent Signup And Profile Information
When you sign up or create a talent profile, WRKROOT may collect:
- First name and last name.
- Industry and sub-industry.
- Job title.
- Professional headline.
- Introduction, biography, or profile summary.
- Profile photo.
- Pitch or intro video.
- Skills and skill descriptions.
- Work experience, job titles, company names, dates, responsibilities, and outcomes.
- Education, degree titles, fields of study, institute names, and dates.
- Preferred work hours.
- Preferred work days.
- Preferred work mode.
- Preferred client country.
- Profile status, profile lock state, submitted-for-review timestamp, approved timestamp, marketplace status, featured status, and related profile metadata.
3. Credentials And Uploaded Documents
WRKROOT may collect credential-related information and documents, including:
- Credential titles.
- Degrees.
- Certifications.
- Licenses.
- Transcripts.
- Work proof.
- Credential files.
- Original file names.
- File type, content type, file size, stored path, and upload metadata.
- Credential status, such as draft, submitted, changes required, approved, rejected, delisted, or relisted.
- Review notes.
- Submitted and reviewed timestamps.
- Credential audit events.
- Actor, reviewer, or admin records.
Clients may generally see credential status where relevant. Actual credential documents will not be shared with clients unless explicitly required and authorized in writing or through another approved WRKROOT workflow.
4. Assessment Information
WRKROOT may assign assessments to talent and collect assessment-related information, including:
- Assessment assignments.
- Assignment status.
- Assigned template.
- Assigned-by admin.
- Availability and retake timestamps.
- Assessment attempts.
- Assessment snapshot at the time of attempt.
- Answers and answer JSON.
- File-upload answers.
- Original file names, content types, file sizes, and question metadata.
- Score percent.
- Score reports.
- Pass/fail status.
- Manual review grades.
- Section review notes.
- Reviewer assignment.
- Assessment review audit events.
- Started/submitted timestamps.
- Submission reason.
- Warning counts and safeguard events, such as tab switching, focus loss, refresh events, or similar assessment-integrity signals.
Clients may see pass/fail status, assessment summaries, recommendations, and more detailed score or report information if WRKROOT chooses, if the workflow requires it, or if the information is relevant to a client hiring or engagement decision.
Assessments are tools used for review, matching, marketplace readiness, and operational decision-making. They do not guarantee placement, client selection, work, compensation, or continued engagement.
5. Marketplace Visibility And Client-Facing Profile Data
If your profile is approved and marketplace-ready, WRKROOT may show your talent profile to clients and prospective clients.
Client-facing profile information may include:
- Name or display name.
- Profile photo.
- Pitch video.
- Professional headline.
- Biography or introduction.
- Job title.
- Industry and sub-industry.
- Country.
- Skills.
- Work experience.
- Education.
- Work preferences.
- Preferred work hours, workdays, work mode, and preferred client country.
- Marketplace status.
- Featured status.
- Credential verification/status indicators.
- Assessment status, pass/fail, summary, recommendation, or score/report information where WRKROOT chooses.
- Other information WRKROOT determines is relevant to hiring, placement, marketplace, or engagement workflows.
Talent profiles may be client-facing unless the talent intentionally delists or opts out of marketplace visibility through a WRKROOT-supported process, where that option is available.
Delisting or opting out of marketplace visibility may limit client discovery, recommendations, interviews, hiring opportunities, and engagement opportunities. WRKROOT may still retain profile and related records as described in this Notice.
6. Hiring, Interview, And Engagement Information
WRKROOT may process talent information during hiring, interview, and engagement workflows, including:
- Client hiring requests connected to your profile.
- Talent recommendations.
- Interview requests.
- Proposed and confirmed interview dates/times.
- Interview notes.
- Coordination summaries.
- Participant responses.
- Decision logs.
- Engagement status.
- Client-talent engagement records.
- Joining date.
- Engagement updates.
- Contract status.
- Admin notes and operational records.
WRKROOT may share relevant talent information with prospective or active clients during hiring and engagement workflows.
No client is required to hire, interview, select, approve, retain, or continue working with any talent unless and until a WRKROOT-approved written contract, engagement document, order form, or similar written record is accepted by the required parties.
7. Contracts And Electronic Signature Records
WRKROOT may process talent contract and signature information, including:
- Contract templates.
- Rendered contract body.
- Contract title.
- Party type.
- Recipient legal name.
- Recipient email.
- Contract status.
- Sent/viewed/signed/declined/expired timestamps.
- Admin notes.
- Typed signatures.
- Signer name.
- Signer title.
- Signer email.
- Signature attestations.
- Signature hash.
- IP address.
- User agent.
- Signed timestamp.
- Signed PDF artifacts.

WRKROOT may retain signed documents, signature records, and audit logs for legal, billing, contract, dispute, audit, fraud prevention, compliance, and legitimate business reasons.

For active or onboarding engagements, WRKROOT may collect and share attendance and scheduling information, including:

10. Support, Notifications, And Communications
WRKROOT may collect support and communication information, including:

- Ticket status.
- Assigned admin.
- Messages.

Support tickets may include information you provide voluntarily. You should not include sensitive information unless necessary and authorized.
11. How WRKROOT Uses Talent Information
WRKROOT may use talent information to:
- Create and manage talent accounts.
- Verify identity, eligibility, credentials, and account status.
- Build, review, approve, lock, delist, relist, or publish talent profiles.
- Evaluate marketplace readiness.
- Assign and review assessments.
- Review credentials.
- Recommend talent to clients.
- Support hiring requests, interviews, and client selection workflows.
- Create and manage engagements.
- Create, send, sign, and retain contracts.
- Administer attendance, time off, holidays, KPIs, productivity reporting, and proof submissions.
- Provide support.
- Send notifications and communications.
- Maintain audit logs.
- Detect and prevent fraud, false credentials, misuse, security incidents, policy violations, and unlawful activity.
- Preserve marketplace integrity and client safety.
- Enforce agreements and policies.
- Defend legal claims and resolve disputes.
- Comply with legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, audit, security, healthcare, BAA, or compliance obligations.
- Improve the WRKROOT platform and services.
12. How WRKROOT Shares Talent Information
WRKROOT may share talent information with:
- Prospective clients.
- Active clients.
- Client representatives.
- WRKROOT admins, recruiters, operations staff, support staff, and authorized personnel.
- Service providers and subprocessors.
- Payment, email, hosting, storage, analytics, support, electronic signature, verification, background check, identity check, sanctions check, credential verification, or reference-check providers where used.
- Legal, accounting, audit, insurance, and professional advisors.
- Regulators, law enforcement, courts, arbitrators, or other authorities where required or appropriate.
- Other parties where necessary for business transactions, fraud prevention, dispute handling, legal compliance, or rights protection.
WRKROOT may share deeper talent information with prospective or active clients during hiring or engagement workflows, including credentials/status, assessment outcomes, interview notes, attendance/KPI data after engagement, support context where relevant, and contract status.
Actual credential documents are shared only where explicitly required and authorized in writing or through another approved WRKROOT workflow.
13. Background Checks And Future Verification
WRKROOT may later add third-party background checks, identity checks, sanctions checks, credential verification, reference checks, work authorization checks, or similar screening/verification processes.

Where required by law, WRKROOT will provide additional notice, obtain consent, or follow required procedures before using third-party screening reports or verification services.
Screening and verification may be used for marketplace eligibility, client safety, fraud prevention, credential review, compliance, engagement decisions, or legal obligations.
14. Healthcare Customers, PHI, And BAA Workflows
WRKROOT may support healthcare customers. Talent assigned to healthcare customers may access or handle protected health information ("PHI") within customer systems or approved workflows.
Talent must not upload PHI, patient data, medical records, clinical records, insurance records, or healthcare treatment/payment/operations information into WRKROOT unless:
- WRKROOT expressly approves the workflow.
- The applicable healthcare customer authorizes the workflow.
- A valid Business Associate Agreement or other required written agreement is in place where legally required.
- The talent is authorized to handle the information.
- The upload is necessary and limited to the approved purpose.
Talent are responsible for following client instructions, confidentiality obligations, healthcare privacy/security rules, minimum necessary requirements, and any applicable training or access restrictions.
15. Talent Privacy Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information.
You may also be able to:
- Update profile information.
- Manage notification preferences.
- Request marketplace delisting or visibility changes where WRKROOT provides that option.
- Request account deletion.
- Contact WRKROOT about privacy questions.

WRKROOT may verify your identity before responding. WRKROOT may decline or limit requests where permitted by law, including where records must be retained for legal, billing, contract, tax, accounting, audit, dispute, fraud prevention, security, compliance, client safety, marketplace integrity, or legitimate business reasons.
16. Retention Of Talent Information
WRKROOT may retain talent information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice and the Privacy Policy.
Talent deletion requests may be limited by retention needs for:
- Contracts.
- Electronic signatures.
- Billing-related records.
- Credentials and credential audit events.
- Assessments and assessment audit events.
- Attendance records.
- KPI records.
- Time off and holiday records.
- Support tickets.
- Notifications and email logs.
- Account status records.
- Blocked, blacklisted, rejected, delisted, or suspended account records.
- Marketplace view and recommendation records.
- Security logs.
- Audit logs.
- Dispute records.
- Fraud prevention records.
- Compliance records.
- Legal defense and rights enforcement.
WRKROOT may retain rejected, blocked, blacklisted, suspended, or delisted talent records for fraud prevention, legal defense, marketplace integrity, client safety, compliance, and operational accountability.
17. Changes To This Notice
WRKROOT may update this Notice from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by the "Last updated" date above. WRKROOT may provide notice through the website, platform, email, in-app notification, dashboard notice, or another reasonable method.
Your continued access to or use of WRKROOT after an updated Notice becomes effective means you accept the updated Notice.
